Mazda Affects 6,000 UK Cars

Toyota has been in the news in the late. Today, we read that it’s Mazda’s turn to recall more than 6,000 cars.

Here’s what I read:

The news states that Mazda will be recalling 90,000 cars in Japan and China due to a problem with the model’s oil hose pipe, the car maker has announced.

Mazda reports that the car’s oil hose pipe has been placed too close to the radiator panel, causing friction between the two that can eventually wear the hose down and lead to the car failing to start.

That recall news is in Asia, for Europe, it is reported that the fault on the Mazda 3 model affects 6,000 vehicles sold in Britain, but the company insists there is currently no UK recall planned. Instead, British owners are being advised to have the problem fixed at their local Mazda dealer, or at their next service.
