Non-Professional To Professional Classification

Requirements :

  1. Current/Expired Non-prof. Driver’s License
  2. Duly accomplished Application Form.
  3. Medical Certificate (from an LTO accredited or Government Physician) or valid AFP/PNP organic personnel ID.
  4. Negative drug test result (from a DOH accredited drug testing center).
  5. Clearances/Certificate (Any of the following)                                                                -NBI Clearance                                                                                                          -Police Clearance                                                                                                      -Court Clearance                                                                                                        -Certificate from Commanding Office, if a military personnel
  6. Must have passed the written and practical examination.

* If due for renewal, license fee is : Php. 240.00
* Penalty if expired 1 day to 1 yr. : 30.00
* Penalty if expired 1 yr & 1 day to 2 yrs. : 60.00
* Penalty if expired 2 yrs & 1 day to 10 yrs. : 90.00

Procedures

  1. Proceed to the Evaluator to have your documents checked for completeness and authenticity, and secure a Driver’s License Application Form. (This form is available for download here. You can accomplish this form prior to transacting your business at the LTO.).
  2. Proceed to the Phototaking/Signature Area when your name is called to have your picture and signature taken.
  3. Proceed to the Cashier when your name is called to pay the application fee.
  4. Proceed to the Examination Room for the lecture and written exam.
  5. After passing the written examination, wait for your name to be called for th practical exam.
  6. After passing the practical examination, proceed to the Cashier when your name is called for payment of the necessary fees.
  7. Proceed to the AMPI Counter when your name is called to have your signature and picture taken.
  8. Claim the temporary driver’s license (TDL) and the Official Receipt(OR) of payment.
